Up to this point the interface analysis was mainly focused on in-situ prepared Josephson junctions, which consist of two coupled single interfaces or to ex-situ fabricated single interface devices. In our work we utilize a novel fabrication process, combining selective area growth and shadow evaporation which allows the characterization of a single in-situ fabricated Nb/(Bi0.15Sb0.85)2Te3 nano interface. The resulting high interface transparency, is apparent by a zero bias conductance increase by a factor of 1.7. Furthermore, we present a comprehensive differential conductance analysis of our single in-situ interface for various magnetic fields, temperatures and gate voltages. Additionally, density functional theory calculations of the superconductor/topological insulator interface are performed in order to explain the peak-like shape of our differential conductance spectra and the origin of the observed smearing of conductance features."},"Subject":"Physics","citation:Keyword":[{"keyword:Term":"superconductivity"},{"keyword:Term":"topological materials"},{"keyword:Term":"topological superconductor"},{"keyword:Term":"Majorana"},{"keyword:Term":"transport"},{"keyword:Term":"experiment"},{"keyword:Term":"theory"},{"keyword:Term":"density-functional theory"},{"keyword:Term":"DFT"}],"Related Publication":{"Citation":"Kevin Janßen, Philipp Rüßmann, Sergej Liberda, Michael Schleenvoigt, Xiao Hou, Abdur Rehman Jalil, Florian Lentz, Stefan Trellenkamp, Benjamin Bennemann, Erik Zimmermann, Gregor Mussler, Peter Schüffelgen, Claus-Michael Schneider, Stefan Blügel, Detlev Grützmacher, Lukasz Plucinski, Thomas Schäpers, Single in-situ interface characterization composed of niobium and a selectively grown (Bi1-xSbx)2Te3 topological insulator nanoribbon, Materials Cloud Archive 2023.142 (2023)","ID Type":"doi","ID Number":"10.24435/materialscloud:gt-0r","URL":"https://doi.org/10.24435/materialscloud:gt-0r"},"citation:Depositor":"Rüßmann, Philipp","Deposit Date":"2024-04-29","@id":"doi:10.26165/JUELICH-DATA/47PXBG","@type":["ore:Aggregation","schema:Dataset"],"schema:version":"1.0","schema:datePublished":"2024-04-30","schema:name":"Replication Data for: Single in-situ interface characterization composed of niobium and a selectively grown (Bi1-xSbx)2Te3 topological insulator nanoribbon","schema:dateModified":"2024-04-30 09:11:53.72","schema:license":"https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/","dvcore:fileTermsOfAccess":{"dvcore:fileRequestAccess":false},"schema:includedInDataCatalog":"Peter Grünberg Institute – Quantum Theory of Materials (PGI-1 / IAS-1)","ore:aggregates":[],"schema:hasPart":[]},"@context":{"Author":"http://purl.org/dc/terms/creator","Citation":"http://purl.org/dc/terms/bibliographicCitation","Deposit Date":"http://purl.org/dc/terms/dateSubmitted","ID Number":"http://purl.org/spar/datacite/ResourceIdentifier","ID Type":"http://purl.org/spar/datacite/ResourceIdentifierScheme","Identifier":"http://purl.org/spar/datacite/AgentIdentifier","Identifier Scheme":"http://purl.org/spar/datacite/AgentIdentifierScheme","Related Publication":"http://purl.org/dc/terms/isReferencedBy","Subject":"http://purl.org/dc/terms/subject","Title":"http://purl.org/dc/terms/title","URL":"https://schema.org/distribution","author":"https://dataverse.org/schema/citation/author#","citation":"https://dataverse.org/schema/citation/","datasetContact":"https://dataverse.org/schema/citation/datasetContact#","dcterms":"http://purl.org/dc/terms/","dsDescription":"https://dataverse.org/schema/citation/dsDescription#","dvcore":"https://dataverse.org/schema/core#","fzj":"https://jugit.fz-juelich.de/fdm/schemas","keyword":"https://dataverse.org/schema/citation/keyword#","ore":"http://www.openarchives.org/ore/terms/","schema":"http://schema.org/"}}
