The plants were phenotyped over the course of three weeks under greenhouse conditions using the automated high throughput phenotyping platform GrowScreen-Rhizo 3. Non-invasive imaging of roots and shoots was enabled by growing the plants in soil-filled rhizotrons. Eight replicates per genotype were phenotyped which resulted in a total number of 192 plants. The data set contains root and shoot traits derived from images and is complemented with manual measured root and shoot data.
