The study was a human participant mixed design laboratory study (n=20-1). Ethics approval was granted by the University of Trier and the study was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Zielasko.&lt;/p>&#xd;

&lt;p>The presented data has 19 data points after 1 point in the +W condition was removed&lt;/p>&#xd;

&lt;li>&lt;b>subjective.csv&lt;/b>: Other questionnaire evaluation data, NASA Task Load Index Short and System Usability Scale, additionally data set ID, Water noise, and demographic information&lt;/li>&#xd;
&lt;li>&lt;b>objective.csv&lt;/b>: Objective measurements from the root system architecture reconstruction of each participant&lt;/li>&#xd;
&lt;li>&lt;b>survey.zip.archive&lt;/b>: Study description and questionnaires as PDF as well as study logic as XML, within the zip archive&lt;/li>&#xd;
&lt;li>&lt;b>tracings.zip.archive&lt;/b>: The tracings of each participant, both VR and NMRooting, per ID within the zip archive.&lt;/li>&#xd;

&lt;p>Note that the IDs present in the data are not the original participant IDs and have been further anonymized.
