The grayscale images were segmented into black/white, resolution: 1 µm/px. The samples were either sintered from spherical or formless particles. The nomenclature of the samples is according to:
a) Ti45: spherical, HDH: formless particles,
b) Thickness of the samples / µm,
c) Sinter temperature / °C,
d) IEKxx: sample lot,
e) Size of the segmented image section, the third dimension is the through-plane direction.
