hourly truck traffic flow data
Spatio-temporal data on truck break and rest stops
on the German road network.

Yearly road freight transport data between NUTS-3 regions in Europe was disaggregated spatially and temporally.

The spatial resolution for Germany increased from the NUTS-3 level (401 regions) to the municipality association level (4,620 regions).
The temporal resolution increased from yearly freight flows to hourly freight flows.
This high spatial and temporal resolution allows for the planning and sizing of road infrastructure, such as road capacity and rest, charging, and fueling stop locations.
<sumDscr/></stdyInfo><method><dataColl><sources/></dataColl><anlyInfo/></method><dataAccs><notes type="DVN:TOU" level="dv">CC0 Waiver</notes><setAvail/><useStmt/></dataAccs><othrStdyMat><relPubl><citation><biblCit>Jungblut, E.
