Abstract: |
<h2>VRoot Study Data</h2> <p>This data has been collected during our user study analysing VRoot, an application for immersive root system architecture reconstruction. The study was a human participant mixed design laboratory study (n=20-1). Ethics approval was granted by the University of Trier and the study was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Zielasko.</p> <p>The presented data has 19 data points after 1 point in the +W condition was removed</p> <p> Reference: VRoot: An XR-Based Application for Manual Root System Architecture Reconstruction Dirk Norbert Baker, Tobias Selzner, Jens Henrik Gobbert, Hanno Scharr, Morris Riedel, Ebba Bora Hvannberg, Andrea Schnepf, Daniel Zielasko bioRxiv 2024.06.13.598253; doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/2024.06.13.598253 </p> <p>This data set consists of the following structure:</p> <ul> <li><b>noisy_111x111x100.raw</b>: Study data set that was measured, with noise applied to it, this is a volumetric image data set consisting of uint8 data as xz slices, (0.5, 0.5, 1.0) spacing</li> <li><b>study_111x111x100.raw</b>: Study data set that was measured, this is a volumetric image data set consisting of uint8 data as xz slices, (0.5, 0.5, 1.0) spacing</li> <li><b>training_111x111x190.raw</b>: Training data participants learned the study task on, this is a volumetric image data set consisting of uint8 data as xz slices, (0.5, 0.5, 1.0) spacing</li> <li><b>ueq.csv</b>: User Experience Questionnaire evaluation data</li> <li><b>subjective.csv</b>: Other questionnaire evaluation data, NASA Task Load Index Short and System Usability Scale, additionally data set ID, Water noise, and demographic information</li> <li><b>objective.csv</b>: Objective measurements from the root system architecture reconstruction of each participant</li> <li><b>survey.zip.archive</b>: Study description and questionnaires as PDF as well as study logic as XML, within the zip archive</li> <li><b>tracings.zip.archive</b>: The tracings of each participant, both VR and NMRooting, per ID within the zip archive.</li> </ul> <p>Note that the IDs present in the data are not the original participant IDs and have been further anonymized. We have collected and stored the original IDs.</p> |
