Abstract: |
This repository contains the primary datasets associated with the publication <b>“Cross-plane iridium-based filaments sap efficiency in Proton Exchange Membrane Electrolyzers” (DOI: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.joule.2025.102238)</b>. It provides raw and processed data as used in the publication, organized into sub-folders by measurement technique. Each dataset folder includes its own README.txt file describing file formats and instructions for data handling.<p><p> The data were collected to investigate an aging phenomenon in PEM electrolysis cell MEAs involving the growth of cross-plane iridium filaments within the membrane, correlated with the porous transport layer design. The aim of the study is to improve efficiency, durability, and large-scale green hydrogen production.<p><p> Folder contents (switch to "tree" view to see the folders):<p> - <b>README.txt</b>: Please read the README.txt file within this folder first.
