The basic setup and configuration is described in "Belleflamme et al. (2023): Hydrological forecasting at impact scale: the integrated ParFlow hydrological model at 0.6 km for climate resilient water resource management over Germany, Frontiers in Water, https://doi.org/10.3389/frwa.2023.1183642". The open access research dataset contains experimental simulation results and derived diagnostics from ParFlow hydrologic model runs at high spatial resolution (611m) over Germany and surrounds (all European river basins affecting Germany are included) of (i) daily 9-day deterministic forecasts, (ii) two-daily 9-day ensemble forecasts statistics, and (iii) hindcasts from 2011 to 2023, which serve as a climatology and a baseline for anomaly calculation. The data provided contains relevant variables of the terrestrial hydrological cycle, including groundwater-related quantities. The dataset specification has been elaborated based on a co-design approach with stakeholders from various sectors with primary inputs from agriculture.

The dataset can be downloaded from this storage location (on the https://www.re3data.org/repository/r3d100012923 data publication server):
